I tried this myself and it worked extremely well, but the file size came out to 36GB for a 7 minute video. The original 1080p version was only 1GB. Any recommendations for cutting the size down on these videos without losing quality?

Theres a "Compression Factor" setting you can adjust to help limit the file size. Alternatively you can also run the end product through Handbrake to compress the file but of course thats an extra step to add to the overall process.

I'm glad you like it. I used Davinci Resolve for color grading, and then i upscaled it to 4K with Topaz Video Enhance AI. And yes it is something you can do on your own.
